What ever happened to predictability?

...the milkman, the paperboy, and evening TV?
You miss your old familiar friends waiting just around the bend....

{sing with me now!}

Everywhere you look (everywhere)
There's a heart (there's a heart)
and a hand to hold on to.
Everywhere you look (everywhere)
there's a face of somebody who needs you.

When you're lost out there and you're all alone
A light is waiting to carry you home
Everywhere you look.

If you recognized that as the theme song from Full House, you rock. If you couldn't resist the urge to sing along, you are even cooler!! :)

Our trip to San Francisco has been AMAZING so far! We've done so much and I've taken SO many pictures that I will have to share all the fun over several posts!

On our first day here, we decided to take a bus tour of the city so we could get an idea of a few places we wanted to visit. It was SO neat riding around the city on top of a double-decker bus and taking pictures!

One of the places we got to see were the famous "Painted Ladies".

See the yellow one in the middle? That's the one they used in the intro to Full House (hence the theme song at the beginning of this post)! Can you see the guy in the bottom left corner? He was moving equipment... they were filming a movie in the middle of the park! :)

The Victorian architecture was so beautiful! You just don't see houses like this anymore!

We also got to see the Capitol Building. The gold you see on it is actual 23 karat gold!

I found this next building absolutely fascinating... it's the "greenest" building in the city!

There's no air conditioning, but it's not needed thanks to the funny-looking solar panels on the sides! Those 3 openings in the middle are elevators... they only stop every three floors to save on energy!!

We ended our day by seeing a Giants baseball game at AT&T Park! They were playing the San Diego Padres, and the rivalry was apparent! We saw quite a few drunk and un-orderly fans yelling at each other... no fights, but it was close!! I couldn't believe the weather... 55 and windy, making it feel like 50 degrees! I was wearing a fleece sweater... in JULY! :) The game went 14 innings (wow), but the Giants won!

There's so much more to share, but I will stop there for now (Hubby is done with business for the day, so we are off for more fun!) More to come... I can't wait to share about our visit to the "Crookedest Street" and Alcatraz!!
